When it all falls apart,
You get all the King's horses,
And all the King's men,
To put it all back together again.
When it all falls apart,
You don't fret,
'Cause it's not the end.
No, not just yet.
When it all falls apart,
There's always someone there
Who can say "I Love You,"
Straight from their heart.
When it all falls apart,
We are not to get carried away,
Because for whats to come next,
We are only kept at bay.
So, when it all falls apart,
You have to stay strong,
Because with you will go along
All that has been done wrong.
And from these doings done wrong,
You shall learn,
How to put it all back together again,
When It All Falls Apart.
Who can say "I Love You,"
Straight from their heart.
is a bit kitsch really - you can instantly tell that it was only put there to rhyme and it's what my primary school teacher would have called a "clocks and socks" rhyme.
You're not even rhyming the same thing in each verse so if I were you I'd just drop the rhymes and go for something that sounds more natural and honest. People love honest, open poetry and I think your verse could really benefit from it. Good luck!
yeah, i was just trying to get something in there
thanks again for the honest critique...i'll work on it!
it means alot
